The tools
Ten converters, each doing one job well
PDF tools
Shrink, combine, split and convert PDF files.
Image tools
Convert photos to JPG, compress and resize them.
How it works
Your browser does the work
Most online converters send your file to a server, convert it there and send it back. Ours do the conversion with code that runs inside the page you are on.
- 1
Choose a converter
Each tool does one thing, so there are no menus to dig through.
- 2
Add your files
Drop them on the page or browse. Several at once is fine.
- 3
Download the result
One file downloads directly; several come as a ZIP.
Why it is different
What you do not have to put up with
Private by how it is built
We never receive your files, so we cannot store, read or leak them. That matters for contracts, IDs and medical letters.
No upload queue
A 40 MB PDF does not have to travel to a server and back. Speed depends on your device, not on a busy server.
Nothing added to your files
You download the converted file and nothing else. It carries no watermark or cover page, and getting it never requires signing up.
Built for batches
Convert a whole folder in one go. Several results download together as one ZIP.

Questions people ask first
Is it really free?
Yes. Every tool is free to use as often as you like, and results never carry a watermark.
How can a website convert files without uploading them?
Modern browsers can run the same kind of code a desktop app uses. When you open a tool, that code loads with the page, and the conversion happens in your browser's memory.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no limit set by us. Very large files depend on your device's memory; a modern laptop handles PDFs of a few hundred pages without trouble, while an older phone may struggle.
Which browsers work?
Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop and mobile.
Got a file that needs fixing?
Pick the converter and you will be done before an upload would have finished.
